About The Position

Entegris is currently seeking an Analytical Technician II to join our ESC Advanced Coating team, based in our Bedford, MA facility. In this role you will support analytical measurements for manufacturing processes and new product introduction across the Material Solutions Division of Entegris. The role will involve operating several analytical techniques on thin film metrology. Instrumentation includes optical thickness measurements, modulus and hardness measurements, nanoindentation, scratch adhesion, profilometer, scanning electron microscopy Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy, optical/confocal microscopy and others. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented and an excellent team player, with knowledge of thin film/coating metrology.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related field is highly preferred
• Experience in analytical instrument operation, data analysis and method development
• Team player attitude with a desire for excellence and continuous improvement
• Flexible - ability to rapidly respond to new situations and perform multiple tasks

Nice To Haves

• Certifications or training in Six Sigma, Semi, ISO, etc., are a plus

Responsibilities

• Safely perform routine surface/thin film analysis to support existing products, new product development and internal and external customer requests
• Run MSA studies for detection limits, accuracy, precision and stability for analytical methods
• Design, set up, and execute experiments; analyze data and communicate results to the team
• Maintain and support lab practices per relevant ISO 17025 and 9001 requirements
• Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation
