About The Position

This role is on-site in Sanford, NC Experience performing and reviewing data for Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) and/or Imaged Capillary Isoelectric Focusing (icIEF) experience is required. Support client's Analytical Technology group by conducting wet-chemistry and instrumental analytical chemistry analysis on in-process, final batch concentrate (FBC), monovalent bulk concentrate (MBC) sample types. Preparing analytical standards and reagents Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments Calculating results using Excel spreadsheets and/or instrumental software Documenting results in electronic laboratory notebooks and reviewing notebooks of peers Supporting senior analytical chemists on various projects as assigned Utilizing technical knowledge to identify, troubleshoot, and assist with resolution of process problems Document experiment execution using an electronic lab notebook, batch record, and/or protocols Prioritize and organize work to meet project deadlines and support team goals Communicate effectively with co-workers and client staff members

Requirements

  • BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Experience working with proteins or carbohydrates
  • Direct experience performing and reviewing data for Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) and/or Imaged Capillary Isoelectric Focusing (icIEF) experience is required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong computer skills
  • Incumbent must be organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or in a collaborative environment.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities
