About The Position

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Analytical Linguists (Multilingual) for contingency hiring to support anticipated language intelligence and law enforcement operations nationwide. Successful candidates will provide real-time and post-event translation, transcription, summarization, and analytical support to active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) investigations. This position requires working in highly secure environments, sometimes under time-sensitive or mission-critical conditions.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required (no dual citizenship).
  • Fluency in English and at least one foreign language listed below with ILR Level 3+ proficiency (as tested in reading, listening, speaking, and writing).
  • Minimum two years of experience supporting Title III wiretap operations or similar federal/national security intelligence functions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DEA clearance and operate in SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of target language idioms, cultural nuances, slang, and dialectal variations.
  • Strong typing, listening, and analytical skills; ability to synthesize and report on intercepted material quickly and accurately.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior law enforcement or military intelligence linguist experience.
  • Familiarity with DEA platforms, transcription software, or secure communication protocols.
  • Background in criminal justice, intelligence analysis, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze live and recorded intercepted communications in a target foreign language and English.
  • Translate and transcribe audio and text materials accurately and timely.
  • Provide summaries and detailed analytical reports relevant to investigations.
  • Ensure translation fidelity, context, and proper idiomatic usage across dialects.
  • Identify intelligence leads and suspicious patterns through linguistic analysis.
  • Collaborate with federal agents and analysts in sensitive operations.
  • Maintain chain-of-custody integrity and uphold evidence handling standards.
  • Adhere strictly to DEA procedures, security protocols, and confidentiality requirements.
