This role follows an on-site work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least five days per week. Partner with AHAL scientists and technicians to analyze materials, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals in a state-of-the-art laboratory. Support cross-functional teams to ensure the safety and efficacy of life-changing therapies and diagnostic tools in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry OR Biochemistry, OR Biology if combined with applicable chemistry coursework (general chemistry with lab, organic chemistry with lab)
  • Must graduate between Fall 2026 and Spring 2028
  • Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th - August 7th OR May 26th - August 14th
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the Arden Hills, MN Boston Scientific Corporate location

  • Experience with characterization of novel molecules or materials

Responsibilities

  • Execute analytical test methods or procedures using general laboratory techniques
  • Design experiments to answer complex problems
  • Train on product specific preparatory techniques
  • Use laboratory equipment and instrumentation to analyze samples
  • Statistical analysis and interpretation of experimental data
  • Write technical reports and present findings in group setting
