About The Position

Perform and develop techniques for complex multi-physics simulations, including, but not limited to, conjugate heat transfer, creep, fatigue, and electromagnetics. Design and evaluate new gear box assemblies through simulation and gear design software, such as Kissoft. Serve as subject matter expert in Structures related engineering topics including Statics, Dynamics, Topology Optimization, Modal, Random Vibration, Magnetics, and Thermal Analyses. Support new product development (NPD) engineering projects through simulation to meet market driven design guidelines and fulfill cost, timing, reliability, and high volume manufacturing requirements. Support the Advanced Engineering team in the research and development of new to market products and technology. Develop reduced order plant models (ROM) to predict mechanical and thermal system performance using MATLAB, Simscape, Python, or similar languages. Perform measurements, including, but not limited to, sound, vibration, and modal studies. Support NPD, new to market technology, and simulation advancement through structural analysis (FEA). Maintain current knowledge of developments in the field to recommend innovations to improve quality and effectiveness of company products. Partial work from home allowed on a regular basis.
