About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced person in a Analytical Chemistry Lab with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Liquid Chromatography (LC) and UV-Vis Spectroscopy. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting product development, quality control, and analytical method development/validation activities. You'll be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, contributing to the success of our scientific and manufacturing goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine analysis using LC (HPLC or UPLC) and UV-Vis spectroscopy for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
  • Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods in accordance with ICH and regulatory guidelines.
  • Interpret and report analytical results with high attention to accuracy and precision.
  • Troubleshoot analytical instrumentation and methods as needed.
  • Maintain laboratory records in compliance with GLP/GMP and internal QA/QC protocols.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with formulation scientists, production teams, and QA personnel.
  • Participate in equipment qualification, calibration, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Prepare technical documents including SOPs, validation protocols, and analytical reports.
  • Stay current with developments in analytical technology and regulatory expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience in an analytical laboratory setting.
  • Strong expertise in LC techniques (HPLC/UPLC) and UV-Visible spectroscopy.
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g., FDA, cGMP, ICH guidelines).
  • Proficient with data reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior work in pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical manufacturing industries.
  • Experience with method transfer and stability studies.
