About The Position

What You’ll Do Help keep our lab running smoothly by ensuring instruments stay qualified, compliant, and ready for science. You’ll be hands-on, customer-facing, and essential to daily operations. Key Responsibilities Qualify laboratory instruments (HPLC, GC, KF, UV‑Vis, and more); document all work clearly and accurately. Perform priority repairs and replace user‑accessible consumables (lamps, pumps, seals, tubing, etc.). Execute scheduled and post‑maintenance qualifications to maintain compliance. Troubleshoot routine calibration issues and support immediate lab needs. Assist with testing during instrument upgrades and technology rollouts. Track metrics and document service activities in accordance with procedures. Coordinate and escort vendors on‑site for contracted maintenance and service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science (Chemistry preferred), and 2 years of related work experience
  • Related work experience includes experience working in industry labs, hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, KR, UV-Vis; basic troubleshooting and calibration of lab instruments.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.
