About The Position

We are seeking experienced Analytical Chemistry Group Leaders to oversee laboratory operations and lead a team of scientists in a cGMP-regulated environment. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality analytical testing, compliance, and continuous improvement within our organization. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in chromatography and related analytical techniques with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent directly-related experience.
Minimum 2 years of cGMP experience.
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
Proficiency with HPLC/UPLC instrumentation, troubleshooting, and quantitative data processing.
Experience with UV-Vis spectroscopy and other analytical techniques.
Familiarity with electronic sample and data management systems (LIMS).
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated integrity, work ethic, and ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 25 lbs., standing/walking for extended periods).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and positive attitude.
Ability to learn new techniques/processes, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of analytical chemists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Oversee laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with cGMP and company policies.
Plan, execute, and troubleshoot analytical methods, including HPLC/UPLC and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
Review and interpret quantitative data from chromatography and other analytical techniques.
Ensure accurate documentation and data integrity within electronic systems (LIMS).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and deliverables.
Drive process improvements and implement best practices for efficiency and quality.
