About The Position

We are seeking experienced Analytical Chemistry Group Leaders to oversee laboratory operations and lead a team of scientists in a cGMP-regulated environment. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality analytical testing, compliance, and continuous improvement within our organization. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in chromatography and related analytical techniques with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent directly-related experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of cGMP experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
  • Proficiency with HPLC/UPLC instrumentation, troubleshooting, and quantitative data processing.
  • Experience with UV-Vis spectroscopy and other analytical techniques.
  • Familiarity with electronic sample and data management systems (LIMS).
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated integrity, work ethic, and ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 25 lbs., standing/walking for extended periods).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to learn new techniques/processes, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of analytical chemists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with cGMP and company policies.
  • Plan, execute, and troubleshoot analytical methods, including HPLC/UPLC and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
  • Review and interpret quantitative data from chromatography and other analytical techniques.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and data integrity within electronic systems (LIMS).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices for efficiency and quality.
