About The Position
Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Located in a charming rural setting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the University is just a 20-minute drive from the metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and about an hour from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The University seeks to hire employees with experience working with diverse populations. The Department of Physical Sciences invites applications for a one-year, full-time analytical chemistry position beginning August 2025. Teaching responsibilities will include analytical chemistry lecture and laboratory and general chemistry laboratory with other classes as needed. Some evening labs may be possible. Course modalities will be in person. The teaching load consists of 12 contact hours per semester. Courses include CHEM 230 (Analytical Chemistry I) Labs, CHEM 340 (Analytical Chemistry II) Lecture and Labs, CHEM 100 (General Chemistry I) Labs. All courses to be taught at the undergraduate level.
