About The Position

Analytic Facilitator This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph. A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify. Cherokee Analytics is seeking an Analytic Facilitator to support the development of a Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT) Analytic and skills and knowledge development program. Compensation & Benefits: Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph
  • In-depth mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for the Analytic Facilitator position.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced.
  • Ability to structure analytic questions based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
  • Demonstrates ability to guide teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.

Nice To Haves

  • Desired to have twenty (20) years of related experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last two (2) years.
  • Desired to have a Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Familiarity with the National MASINT Office, DIA, or US and NATO MASINT missions
  • Experience supporting all aspects of the intelligence cycle to include analysis and production
  • Familiarity with various MASINT systems and sensors, and technical data standards
  • Previous work supporting international engagement, technical standards, or sensor/software RDT&E supporting ISR
  • Experience in exploiting and transforming collected measurement and signatures data and information into intelligence products.
  • Experience conducting analysis of measurement and signatures data including, but not limited to, acoustic, infrasound, seismic, and effluents along with their interaction with matter, terrestrial, atmospheric, and exo-atmospheric.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, maintains, and/or delivers training material to drive intelligence goals, objectives, tradecraft, and standards.
  • Facilitates Story Development using structured questioning to conceptualize intelligence stories to assist analyst to develop clear, well-organized intelligence reports with sound, concise messages in an easily understandable format that provides the most value for the consumer.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive MASINT training programs using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles.
  • Establish and maintain standardized MASINT training curricula applicable across the DIE.
  • Provide technical editing and graphic design for syllabi, instructor plans, and student guides, ensuring all materials meet Government approval.
  • Offers structured analytic techniques (SATs) that help analyst examine analytic issues through a lens of structured critical thinking.
  • Reviews emerging policy and doctrine publications, provides feedback, and assesses for incorporation into training products.
  • Develops/Maintains training records and tracking systems as required or designated by the Government.
  • Collaborate with the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) to design, develop, and implement a fully accredited MASINT Certification Program.
  • Maintain consistent training standards and certification requirements across all participating agencies.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
