We are Two Circles. We are a Sports & Entertainment Marketing business. We grow audiences and revenues. We do that by knowing fans best. We work with clients to help them understand & influence what their fans are doing – the way fans spend their money, the events that fans attend, the channels fans respond to, the content fans watch and more. And we use the understanding this gives us to help our clients grow. Grow their audiences and grow their revenues - both direct to consumer and business to business revenues. Our platforms and services are trusted by over 900 clients globally, including the English Premier League, Red Bull, UEFA, VISA, the NFL, Nike and Amazon. We are almost 1000 people, based out of 14 offices, and we deliver work for sports and entertainment businesses of all shapes and sizes all over the world. Role Overview The Analyst will support data-driven consulting engagements across reporting, analytics, and data infrastructure projects. This role blends technical work (SQL, Tableau, ETL processes) with opportunities to collaborate with internal stakeholders and - over time - directly with clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, personable, and highly coachable. They should be comfortable working independently or as part of a team, excited to develop their technical skills, and eager to support meaningful work in sports and entertainment. This position is primarily internally focused but will have opportunities to grow into client-facing responsibilities as skills and confidence develop.

Requirements

  • Strong command of SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Experience building visualizations using Tableau (or similar BI tools).
  • Foundational understanding of ETL concepts and willingness to support pipeline development.
  • Exposure to Python for data manipulation, automation, or analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a desire to continuously learn and improve.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Understanding of sports industry dynamics or database marketing concepts.
  • Experience working with automated workflows or scripting for process efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Write optimized SQL queries to support dashboards, reporting, automated workflows, and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Assist in building and maintaining ETL processes, including ingesting, transforming, and validating data from multiple sources.
  • Support the design and development of Tableau dashboards and other data visualizations.
  • Investigate data discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to data quality improvements.
  • Contribute to documentation for scripts, data flows, and analytical processes.
  • Work closely with internal consulting and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable analytical solutions.
  • Analyze and define tasks, data flows, dependencies, and timelines for assigned work.
  • Support broader reporting and analytics initiatives across the team, contributing ideas and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in internal preparation for client meetings, insights presentations, and technical reviews.
  • Over time, develop the skills and confidence to interact directly with client stakeholders, explaining findings and supporting problem-solving conversations.
