We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Analyst to join our Operations team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA and Lake Mary, FL. BNY Analyst Program Our 24-month analyst program is a holistic talent development journey offering rotational experiences designed to prepare you for your future career. Through projects across the specific line of business, you will receive a panoramic view of BNY’s entire global franchise, providing rare insight into the operation of one of the world's largest banks. In each of these roles, you will work on high-priority initiatives and develop a comprehensive set of analytical and interpersonal skills. As part of a highly selective program, you will gain unparalleled exposure to the senior leadership of BNY and its clients, while receiving personalized guidance and support from a peer mentor. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be considered for high impact roles in multiple functions. Operations As an analyst at BNY, you will help bridge business needs with artificial intelligence and analytics capabilities. You will support the development, deployment, and monitoring of AI-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, enable data-driven decisions, and support BNY’s enterprise-wide AI strategy. You’ll partner with AI Hub, data scientists, engineers, Ops Hub and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical AI applications that align with risk, compliance, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Prior experience in AI/ML, analytics, data science, or a related technical discipline
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Python or R and experience with AI/ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong data manipulation and analysis skills, including SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI).
• Graduating in Dec 2025 (U.S.)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and data engineering concepts is a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities where AI/ML and automation can deliver value.
• Develop, validate, and deployment of AI and machine learning models
• Assist in data preparation, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis to support modeling efforts
• Monitor model performance post-deployment and recommend improvements
• Partner with product owners, AI Hub, Ops Hub, Platform teams, and business units to understand requirements and ensure AI solutions meet business goals.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Work with data engineering teams to integrate AI models into scalable production workflows
• Support responsible and ethical AI practices in line with enterprise governance frameworks
• Participate in testing, validation, and documentation to ensure model accuracy, fairness, and compliance
• Keep up to date with emerging AI trends, tools, and techniques to drive innovation within the team
• Conduct research into new methodologies and present findings to enhance internal AI capabilities
