About The Position

The Analyst - Work Planning position at Avangrid Service Company is responsible for updating and maintaining various capital and operational projects within Electric Operations. This role involves developing and issuing reports to aid in project prioritization and resource forecasting, as well as supporting scheduling for construction activities. The Analyst will also play a key role in storm emergency support and will be tasked with organizing work based on due dates and stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; Associates Degree with 3 years relevant experience or High School/GED with 5 years relevant experience required.
  • Expert level project and schedule management skills.
  • Knowledge of Capital and O&M Budgeting, Construction Principles and Practices, Operations, Maintenance, Safety Standards, and Business Processes.
  • General understanding of labor work practices.
  • Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g. SAP, Arcos Crew Manager, Microsoft Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and implements the master work schedules for area operations, including shift work.
  • Maintains data for global templates used to create schedules and forecasts of future resource requirements.
  • Monitors current and future workload to ensure area plans and schedules maximize productivity and control costs.
  • Identifies, develops, and implements work processes for continuous best practices in scheduling.
  • Responsible for the integrity of data input into work management systems and operating databases.
  • Provide storm support as necessary.
