Responsibilities The Warehouse EWM Analyst plays a critical role in providing Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) business support and expertise to the Warehouse and Logistics Process Team. This individual will be responsible for supporting operations by troubleshooting issues and providing resolutions, driving continuous improvement of warehouse processes, training and providing guidance to cross-functional teams, determining business impact of system or process changes impacting EWM, the creation and maintenance of EWM Master Data. Key Objectives / Deliverables: Maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountably supporting all Health, Safety & Environmental Corporate and Site goals. Support site start-up/ramp-up and provide subject matter expertise in assigned area. Support production area for investigation or troubleshooting related to EWM process execution. This support includes: Working with a cross-functional team (engineering, operations, IT support, supply chain …) to understand extent of the situation, business and quality impact, and providing robust analysis on issues or trends. Investigate deviations and implement corrective actions. Identifying root causes of issues and implementing solutions. Apply analytic approaches to drive analysis of system transactions to find trends for increased throughput or mistake-proofing processes. Creating and maintaining local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and training materials. Determining impact of local and/or global changes on business process and control strategy. These changes could include: EWM Master Data changes. Interfaced system changes (e.g. MES, WCS, LIFT, SAP). Process changes that are driven by continuous improvement or regulatory requirements. Identifying and participating in or leading process improvement initiatives. Increase Warehouse and Logistics EWM expertise proving coaching and training for operators and support functions. Leveraging appropriate tools / reports to track maintenance efforts and both EWM data accuracy and completeness. Participating to EWM formal testing activities prior to system changes implementation. Maintaining the quality and integrity of the data into EWM and maintaining data accuracy through audits and Master Data changes. Work closely with multiple teams across the site to manage data change requests, solve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement activities around Master Data. Contributing to global initiatives for Master Data Management, attending Power User forums to share best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (2+years of specific EWM experience)
  • SAP inventory/warehousing knowledge and work experience.
  • Comfortable with interfacing with automated system (AGVs, ASRS, robots)
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
  • Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for employment positions on the R path.
