Role Overview The Analyst, Strategic Sales & Analytics (SS&A) plays a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that fuel commercial excellence and market leadership. Reporting into the Manager, SS&A , this role partners closely with Sales, Category, Marketing, and Finance to identify opportunities, diagnose performance, and recommend actions that help SharkNinja win—faster and smarter than the competition. This role is ideal for a highly analytical, commercially minded self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment and is motivated by results, impact, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Finance, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in analytics, sales analytics, strategy, or a related role (CPG experience preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large, complex datasets
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Ability to clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A relentless drive to win in the market, every category, every retailer, every item
  • Intellectual curiosity and a bias toward action—never accepting “good enough”
  • Comfort with ambiguity, pace, and high expectations
  • Ownership mentality: treating the business as your own and holding yourself accountable for outcomes

Nice To Haves

  • CPG experience preferred
  • experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales, market, customer, and item-level performance to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Develop recurring and ad hoc reporting that clearly communicates performance vs. targets, forecasts, and competitive benchmarks
  • Support category, retailer, and item-level analyses to inform pricing, promotions, assortment, and distribution decisions
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that drive winning strategies
  • Identify whitespace and growth opportunities across categories, retailers, and items
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to support strategic initiatives and new launches
  • Partner with Sales, Category Management, and Marketing teams to support business planning and execution
  • Support leadership with insight-driven storytelling for internal reviews and external customer meetings
  • Act as a thought partner to the SS&A Manager, proactively surfacing opportunities to improve performance and decision-making
  • Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and analytical models using internal and external data sources
  • Continuously improve reporting efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Champion best practices in analytics, data visualization, and insight communication
