About The Position

The Strategic Advisory group is a highly experienced team involved in complex transactions across diverse industries including technology, media & telecommunications, energy, power & utilities, industrials, healthcare, and real estate. As a First Year Analyst in the Structured Products group, the role involves working directly with large financial sponsors and corporate clients on transactions within structured fund finance (e.g., collateralized fund obligations, rated feeders) and asset-based finance (e.g., ABS, joint ventures, forward flows) asset classes. Analysts will participate in all aspects of pitches and live transactions, assuming an integral role due to the relatively small professional staff, often working directly with senior level bankers.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student or recently graduated
  • Anticipated graduation date: Spring 2025 – Spring 2026

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing capital structures and cash flows models
  • Facilitating due diligence on prospective and active client mandates
  • Creating presentations and memoranda to present to clients and internal parties
  • Preparing investor materials across all transaction structure and legal-related matters
  • Coordinating complex and time-sensitive transaction processes with clients, investors, rating agencies, and external legal counsel
  • Monitoring of financial and securitization markets and industry trends
  • Active involvement in client-facing situations
  • Ongoing investor relationship development and management
  • Participation in talent development efforts, including recruiting
