I2X Technologies is seeking a Analyst & Simulation Developer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO . This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance. Applicant will be expected to provide technical expertise in the area of Missile Defense (MD) modeling and simulation and/or analysis. Depending on the specific skills of the successful applicant, duties will include one or more of the following: Plan and execute performance analyses on program and its interactions with current and planned-future MD Elements, document analysis results in reports and briefings, present analysis results to a variety of audiences, develop requirements for complex system models/simulations Execute, test and evaluate/trouble-shoot MD level, large scale models/simulations Develop, test, and evaluate threat scenarios Develop tools to support analysis and development effort in MATLAB, Python Provide data to support decisions regarding system/element representations and modeling parameters used in large scale simulations Interact with members of other Product Teams, leadership, customers, and technical SMEs as well as leadership of other MD Element programs

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree with 3 years of experience; Will consider a college graduate/new hire with a Masters or Doctorate.
Active Secret clearance
Software development in a Linux and agile environment using MATLAB (strongly preferred), Python (strongly preferred) and/or Java, Bash, etc.
Radar design and performance
Strategic and tactical missile threat characterization/performance/modeling
Simulation modeling of complex systems
Requirement and test condition decomposition
Applicant should have knowledge and hands-on experience working in a Unix/Linux environment
Candidate is required to work on site full time due the need to have access to a classified computing environment.
Discrete event simulation modeling
Data analysis using tools in Python, MATLAB
US Citizenship is required
Active Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience with GIT environment a plus
Exposure to tactical-strategic weapon and sensor message standards
