About The Position

The SCADA Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting industrial control systems (ICS) for pipeline operations at Phillips 66. This position involves providing technical and project services to ensure effective monitoring and control of pipeline operations through SCADA applications. The analyst will work collaboratively within a team to manage database systems, develop SCADA displays, and maintain communication interfaces, while also addressing the needs of operational, IT support, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2 or more years' end user experience working in a Microsoft operating system
  • 2 or more years of experience working with SCADA or ICS
  • 2 or more years of experience working in the Energy industry

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a Technical related field
  • 5 or more years' end user experience with working in a Microsoft operating system
  • 2 or more years of experience with SQL
  • 5 or more years working on ICS networks and communication protocols, cellular and VSAT communications
  • 5 or more years of experience working with SCADA or ICS
  • 5 or more years of experience working in the Energy industry
  • 2 or more years of experience in a pipeline control center

Responsibilities

  • Designing, building, testing, and deploying displays, scripts, point, and database changes to the SCADA system
  • Supporting automation and process control network (PCN) integration into SCADA
  • Employing standards and quality control for database management and SCADA system modifications
  • Applying HMI design standards for display configuration
  • Configuring and commissioning communications processors within the PCN
  • Providing on-call technical support on a rotational basis and communicating with functional experts for additional problem resolution as needed
  • Performing and maintaining assigned management of change tickets for modifications to the SCADA system
  • Maintaining basic knowledge of cyber security standards for Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
  • Maintaining a basic knowledge of regulations and industry standards for SCADA systems, such as PHMSA
  • Designing and configuring SCADA applications used for tank, meter, product, and leak detection monitoring
  • Providing primary remote support for SCADA field devices, including cellular modems, VSAT, and edge polling devices
