Purpose: The Analyst, Reverse Distribution Programs is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management, analysis, and optimization of existing and future special returns programs—including but not limited to Unused Spravato Returns, Infused Oncology Returns, and Trade‑Initiated Early Returns initiatives. This role ensures compliant, timely, and accurate processing of returned product activity while identifying opportunities to enhance program performance, operational efficiency, and data integrity. The Analyst serves as a key liaison between internal teams, external partners, and industry stakeholders to support the continuous improvement and strategic growth of reverse distribution offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline
  • 2 – 4+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, reverse logistics, product returns, trade operations, or data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate operational data, identify trends, and produce actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or ERP/3PL systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present data-driven insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Solid grasp of end-to-end supply chain operations, including order management, forward and reverse logistics.

  • Customer & Business Focus: Demonstrates a customer-centric mindset and deep understanding of return goods processes, crediting policies, and financial operations (e.g., revenue management, accounts receivable).
  • Experience working with third‑party logistics (3PL) providers or external vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience maintaining SOPs, process documents, or audit‑ready materials.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving ability with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Process & Project Management: Skilled in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies (Yellow/Green Belt), with experience leading cross-functional projects and improving supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

  • Program Operations & Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the SME for all special returns programs, overseeing daily 3PL operations and ensuring processes run accurately and efficiently.
  • Vendor & Performance Management: Oversee third‑party vendors managing special returns programs, including performance monitoring, SLA compliance, quarterly business reviews, budgeting, PO management, and issue escalation.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze return trends, develop monthly performance dashboards, and deliver insights to internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities.
  • Forecasting & Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Brand, Finance, Trade, and other internal teams to forecast return volumes and support strategic planning.
  • Program Development & Launch Support: Support or lead design and implementation of new returns processes for product launches, acquisitions, divestitures, or early return initiatives.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Create, maintain, and store SOPs and Work Instructions in Tru‑Vault; support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, strengthen vendor processes, and reduce overall RD program costs.
  • Contract & Agreement Management: Manage contract renewals—including MSAs, SOWs, and Quality Agreements—in collaboration with Procurement and Contracting teams.
