About the position

Elastic, the Search AI Company, enables everyone to find the answers they need in real time, using all their data, at scale — unleashing the potential of businesses and people. The Elastic Search AI Platform, used by more than 50% of the Fortune 500, brings together the precision of search and the intelligence of AI to enable everyone to accelerate the results that matter. By taking advantage of all structured and unstructured data — securing and protecting private information more effectively — Elastic’s complete, cloud-based solutions for search, security, and observability help organizations deliver on the promise of AI. We’re looking for a strategic, creative, and proactive Analyst Relations (AR) Specialist to help elevate Elastic’s position in the minds of influential industry analysts. In this role, you’ll work closely with product marketing, product management, and executive leadership to support and execute high-impact analyst engagement programs across key markets, including Observability, Security, and Search/AI. You’ll report to the Director of Analyst Relations and play a critical role in expanding our Analyst Relations function. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with 2-3 years of AR experience, ideally with a background in observability and/or security, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute analyst engagement plans for Elastic’s strategic growth areas, including scheduling briefings, inquiries, and report contributions.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key analysts from Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and Tier 2/independent firms.
  • Track and influence analyst evaluations, including Magic Quadrants, Waves, MarketScapes, and landscape reports.
  • Monitor analyst research and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks for Elastic’s positioning.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across product, marketing, and executive teams to ensure message consistency and accuracy.
  • Contribute to measurement and reporting on the impact of AR activities, including internal feedback loops and survey insights.
  • Act as a creative problem-solver, identifying new ways to grow analyst mindshare and boost Elastic’s reputation in the market.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in Analyst Relations within B2B tech.
  • Background in observability, security, search, or cloud platforms strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing analyst relationships and contributing to vendor evaluations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling narratives.
  • Experience working across global, distributed teams in a fast-moving organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with a passion for detail, follow-through, and creative thinking.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and the confidence to collaborate across all levels of an organization.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay based on the work you do here and not your previous salary.
  • Health coverage for you and your family in many locations.
  • Ability to craft your calendar with flexible locations and schedules for many roles.
  • Generous number of vacation days each year.
  • Increase your impact - We match up to $2000 (or local currency equivalent) for financial donations and service.
  • Up to 40 hours each year to use toward volunteer projects you love.
  • Embracing parenthood with minimum of 16 weeks of parental leave.
