About The Position
The Analyst position at Ryan involves supporting various functions within the Property Tax practice, including processing property tax assessment notices and tax bills, handling mail, and performing scanning tasks. The Analyst will engage in independent research and analytical reviews to bolster the Property Tax practice and will maintain software databases to ensure the integrity of data and reports. A key aspect of this role is to foster positive experiences for team members, which in turn enhances client service and drives revenue and profit for the firm. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by excellent interpersonal abilities. Successful candidates will be adept at researching issues, reconciling databases, and executing detailed calculations. The role includes monitoring compliance and filing requirements, sorting incoming mail, batching tax documents for scanning, processing tax bills and assessments in a timely manner, and coordinating outgoing mail processes. Additionally, the Analyst will assist in preparing documentation for board hearings, researching asset ownership structures, and building knowledge of property tax jurisdictions across the country. The position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and collaboratively with professionals at all levels.
