About The Position

The City of Baltimore is seeking an Analyst/Programmer II to perform a wide variety of systems design development and computer programming. This position involves no supervisory duties and requires moderate supervision from a technical superior. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electronic data processing or computer science.
• Three years of experience in preparing computer programs, including one year in systems design.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems design development and computer programming tasks.
• Prepare systems flow charts, forms, input and output documents, computer files, specifications, and procedures.
• Write complex computer programs and test, correct, and document them.
• Conduct systems studies and collect, organize, and analyze data.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and computer users.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
