About The Position

Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Analyst, Product Management (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to be responsible for building data products and solutions that deliver substantial value to Visa teams and its clients. The role involves working closely with business teams, engineers, architects, and global cross-functional counterparts to build and iterate data products. The analyst will provide data exploration and analyses of large data to enable data driven stories and product features. Additionally, the analyst will lead projects requiring expert knowledge of data and business rules needed to build robust data products, drive definition, prioritization of stories and acceptance for agile teams working on the data products, and present the product requirements and features through demos supported by the data analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related analyst or developer occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related analyst or developer occupation.
  • Experience in data management or data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices.
  • Ability to present product value and requirements to end users and technology teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with statistical tools and packages.
