About The Position

In this role, you’ll work with platform leadership to support critical transactional and operational functions for the Infrastructure Debt team including portfolio monitoring, trading support, transaction analysis, RFP responses, client reporting, portfolio valuation and to ensure timely execution of internal workflows. As an Analyst, you’ll be responsible for supporting portfolio monitoring, trading activity and be a key liaison with internal and external parties including accounting, operations and compliance. The incumbent will conduct core credit analysis, develop financial models, and provide research insights to support senior team members in making informed investment decisions and be a key member of the team. The candidate will also support the team on industry research and whitepapers. Support portfolio management and trading activities. Monitor portfolio holdings for financial reporting and covenant compliance tracking and industry trends. Ensure timely execution of internal trading workflows and coordinate with operational/accounting teams. Support coordination with client requests and ad hoc portfolio monitoring and reporting needs Evaluate infrastructure transactions, both investment and non-investment grade and including traditional private placements, bank loans and special assets, structure commitments, and monitoring existing investments. Develop historical and projected financial models, analyze key financial metrics, legal analysis and conduct industry research to support investments. Develop and establish market relationships. Support inquiries from marketing, RFP, product, distribution and reporting teams. Support senior team on overall client interactions Develop knowledge of financial markets, current events, laws and regulations, tax and accounting trends and implications and business operating trends. Perform other job-related duties and special projects and work closely with senior leadership of the Infrastructure Debt Platform

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (ie, finance, accounting, economics, statistics, engineering, data science, business analytics)
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Undergraduate GPA minimum 3.5
  • Excellent abilities in the areas of communication (verbal and written), time management, analytics and use of Excel required
  • Must be collaborative, able to build and maintain strong relationships, manage expectations, attend to details, multi-task and prioritize effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Previous roles in fixed income, investments or related portfolio management roles preferred
