About The Position
The Analyst in Private Equity Capital Markets Investment Banking at TD Securities will work within a deal team under the overall direction of a senior officer. This role requires maintaining confidentiality of client information while conducting thorough research and analysis of clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and capital structures. The analyst will be responsible for valuing private companies and maintaining a comprehensive database of investors across all industry coverage areas. Additionally, the analyst will assist the deal team in investor outreach, tracking relevant interactions, and performing complex financial and capital structure modeling in Excel. The preparation of external client proposals, transaction updates, and internal memos will also be part of the analyst's responsibilities. Furthermore, the analyst will analyze investor proposals and term sheets, recommending appropriate investor outreach strategies. It is essential to establish an environment that promotes respect for individual employees while adhering to the policies and guidelines of the Bank. The role also involves providing specialized financial and statistical analysis on a broad range of marketing and execution activities, conducting ongoing research, preparing supporting documentation, and assisting in due diligence efforts on transactions. This position is designed for an experienced working professional who will provide a broad range of support to the team.
