AMC Networks is seeking an Analyst, Media Insights to join our Consumer Marketing & Media Team at our New York headquarters. This role is pivotal within the media strategy and planning function of the marketing team. The Analyst will report to the Director of Media Strategy and will focus on deriving and analyzing media and audience data insights from various external and internal tools. The insights gathered will inform strategic media and audience planning, tactical execution, measurement, and optimization across our diverse portfolio of linear, streaming, and FAST brands. In this position, the Analyst will become the marketing team's "power user" of external research tools, including the iSpot and 605 suite of reporting products licensed by AMC Networks. Collaboration is key, as the Analyst will work closely with the Performance Marketing team to cultivate insights from internal proprietary data platforms and tools, further informing media and audience strategy. Additionally, the Analyst will partner with the Research team to share knowledge, cross-collaborate, and streamline findings that impact media and audience strategy and planning. The role requires leveraging media and audience insights to support the media strategy team in plan development, audience targeting, tactical execution, and campaign optimization. The Analyst will need to possess in-depth knowledge of category, competitive, and consumer trends, with the ability to pull insights and delineate implications for both owned and paid media. Regular and proactive analysis of media and audience data will be essential to uncover opportunities and flag risks across the portfolio of campaigns and brands. Furthermore, the Analyst will contribute to and develop thought leadership pieces related to media and audience strategy for internal socialization among cross-functional stakeholders.
