About The Position

The Analyst Manufacturing Equipment Engineer at Whirlpool Corporation is a key role within the Process Transformation Team, responsible for supporting new product integration by providing manufacturing expertise. This position involves collaborating with various manufacturing locations to define and manage the acquisition of capital equipment necessary for the production of new cooking products. The engineer will also ensure that manufacturing processes are designed flexibly to accommodate future product plans, thereby minimizing capital requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 2+ years of mechanical manufacturing experience, or a High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of mechanical manufacturing experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with AutoCad or 3D Modeling Software (SolidWorks, AutoDesk Inventor).

  • Experience with mega projects from design to commissioning.
  • Demonstrated history of stakeholder engagement and buy-in.
  • Knowledge in translating technical concepts to business language.
  • Experience in machine building and concepting for optimized manufacturing solutions.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Google apps.
  • WCM experience, especially in the EEM pillar RSRWH.

Responsibilities

  • Support new product integration by providing manufacturing expertise to key business functions.
  • Work closely with NAR Tulsa, OK & Cleveland, TN manufacturing locations to define capital purchases.
  • Specify, implement, and hand off new equipment to manufacturing operations.
  • Improve the speed of delivering winning products to the marketplace.
  • Ensure new manufacturing processes are flexible to accommodate long-range product plans.
  • Collaborate with the Advanced Manufacturing Group to ensure compliance with the Global Bill of Processes.
  • Lead projects and special assignments as required.
  • Utilize World Class Manufacturing and Early Equipment Management methodologies for project execution.
