About The Position

The Freight Forwarding Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that products travel seamlessly from the factory to destinations worldwide. This position is driven by curiosity to find smarter, faster, and more efficient ways to move goods while ensuring full compliance and collaboration across global teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and international shipping procedures.
• Proficient in logistics software (e.g., SAP & TMS platforms), with Power BI skills as an added advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, book, and monitor shipments across air, sea, and land, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery while learning and optimizing processes.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies, maintaining accurate records and streamlined documentation.
• Analyse freight spends, evaluate carrier performance, negotiate contracts, and identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements.
• Track KPIs, generate performance reports, and proactively communicate insights to stakeholders, driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
