About The Position

Team Overview Investor Relations (“IR”) is the team responsible within LaSalle for all client relationship, capital raising, new product development and marketing activities to clients and prospects globally. The team consists of over 30 professionals located in 12 offices worldwide. LaSalle has over 350 institutional clients globally, invested in both private real estate as well as public securities investment programs. Investor Services operates as a core function within the broader IR organization, providing specialized support that enhances our client relationships and capital raising capabilities. The team manages centralized investor servicing across multiple regions and time zones, supporting LaSalle’s “One LaSalle” mission and “client first” culture by enhancing investor retention and meeting evolving client expectations. The team owns critical functions including global investor onboarding, the LaSalle Investor Portal, KYC/AML procedures, ongoing account management, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. We manage investor communications through integrated systems and maintain legal books and records for investor data, serving as the operational backbone that enables the IR team’s relationship management and capital raising activities. Working in a highly collaborative environment, the Investor Services team coordinates with the broader IR team, Global Fund Teams and business units worldwide to manage investor queries, respond to requests for proposals (RFPs), due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and requests for information (RFIs). Objective of Role: LaSalle Investment Management is seeking an Analyst to join the Investor Services team in Chicago, working within the broader IR group to provide comprehensive client service. This entry-level role reports directly to the Associate Vice President, Investor Services in Chicago with an indirect reporting relationship to the Senior Vice President, Investor Services based in the UK. The role involves close collaboration with Investor Relations, Fund and Legal & Compliance teams, and Senior Management, as well as liaising with external service providers and clients. The successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day management of the centralized mailbox and investor onboarding. The objective is to deliver a "best-in-class" service offering to the business and clients while developing investor servicing and operations knowledge and establishing robust processes.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate comprehensive investor onboarding processes in partnership with IR and Compliance teams
  • Assist in managing the centralized mailbox for investor queries using Zendesk, ensuring prompt and professional responses
  • Process Investor Portal support and access request tickets
  • Respond to investor queries and provide comprehensive client service across multiple investment strategies
  • Assist with Request for Proposal (RFP) preparation and coordination, working closely with IR professionals and fund teams
  • Manage DDQ and RFI processes from initial receipt through final delivery, ensuring timely and accurate responses
  • Support firm-level requests including industry surveys, consultant database updates, and benchmarking studies
  • Coordinate responses to internal and external audit inquiries and provide requested documentation
  • Support data gathering, compilation, validation, and reconciliation activities
  • Support routine internal partner queries and respond promptly to stakeholder questions across global teams
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance client service delivery and operational efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining workflows and apply established solutions under guidance
  • Escalate complex matters appropriately while maintaining client service excellence

  • The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $70,000-$80,000 and is dependent on experience, location, and appropriate market data.
