Join Principal Financial Group as an Analyst, Investment Operations, where you'll play a key role in supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of global investment activity. You'll work across trading, settlement, reporting, and operational controls-partnering closely with teams across operations, legal, relationship management, IT, brokers, custodians, portfolio managers, and traders. What you'll do Execute recurring procedures, analysis, and reporting that support global investment transactions. Prepare for and execute post-trade activities, including confirmations, settlements, and trade reporting. Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to obtain information, resolve issues, and keep processes running smoothly. Contribute to global investment initiatives by supporting projects, process reviews, system enhancements, and new capabilities. Collaborate with key stakeholders to educate, problem-solve, and drive operational efficiency.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or equivalent experience.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills-able to own issues and work through them with others.
  • Comfortable learning and using new technologies.
  • Knowledge of financial products across public markets-or a strong interest in learning.
  • Experience in financial services or investment operations.
  • Ability to deliver accurate, timely work under deadlines in a team-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as DTCC vendor systems, Charles River, or comparable platforms.
