About The Position

Role: Analyst, Institutional Client Service The Firm Wasatch Global Investors is a stable, independent, employee-owned investment management firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The firm focuses exclusively on investment management for institutional investors and individuals through separately managed accounts and pooled vehicles, including mutual funds. Wasatch specializes in small-cap strategies across U.S., International, Emerging Markets, and Frontier Markets. The Team The Analyst Team supports global business development and client retention efforts across institutional, wholesale, and client service channels. The team manages RFPs and DDQs, maintains consultant and industry databases, and partners with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, accurate, and scalable communication of firm and product information. The Role This role combines RFP execution with data management and analytics support. The Analyst will respond to written client and consultant inquiries while serving as a steward of the quantitative and qualitative information used across marketing, reporting, and consultant platforms. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to data integrity, and an interest in leveraging technology to improve efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, analytics, data science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with structured datasets.
  • Advanced Excel skills and charting skills preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative, self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Adobe InDesign, or similar) is a plus.
  • Exposure to data warehouse environments, such as Snowflake, preferred.
  • Interest in leveraging technology, automation, or AI to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality, data-driven RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain and validate quantitative and qualitative data used in RFPs, consultant databases, and marketing materials.
  • Analyze product, performance, and business development data to support sales and client service initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, reporting tools, and visual presentations to improve clarity and data storytelling.
  • Partner with internal teams to improve data workflows and reporting processes, including the use of data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Utilize Excel and, where applicable, SQL to extract, organize, and validate data.
  • Drive process improvements and explore automation or AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging and data remain current and consistent.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed.
