About The Position

Acts as an IT sourcing subject matter expert using the Sourcing Methodology for the planning, due diligence, contract negotiations, and governance process for IT spend. Conducts spend analysis, identifies opportunities, coordinates and collaborates with internal stakeholders on complex sourcing events and leads key initiatives. Ensures adherence to corporate contracting standards and policies. Develops robust sourcing strategies to maximize value and minimize risk. Solicits / analyzes request for proposals; negotiates contracts and collaborates with Legal Department on contract terms and contract execution. Establishes a supplier relationship management process focused on continuous improvement. Monitors market dynamics and communicates changes to internal stakeholders. Contributes to new supplier selection process and developing and maintaining supplier relationships. Demonstrated experience sourcing IT related hardware, software, professional services and staffing for major projects in a fast-paced environment and must possess a broad understanding of sourcing and IT trends and their commercial application including use of research groups such as Gartner, Forrester, etc. Significant experience in data gathering, data analysis and project management. Strong ability to develop, coordinate and control multiple process and or projects in a fast paced environment, while delivering a high level of customer service within the organization. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively and accurately convey detailed and complex information regarding financials, contract specifications, policies and procedures to consultants/contractors and internal clients. Requires knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work with various groups to reach alignment and resolve conflicts. General negotiation skills and experience managing contract negotiations. Understanding of Oracle and SharePoint is desired and proficiency in MS Office including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure with tight deadlines, and perform with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain Management or Engineering required.
  • 5 years of overall work experience (preferably in IT) required.
  • Experience in contract negotiation, supplier performance management, preparing and evaluating RFPs, relationship management, spend analytics, and project management.
  • Solid background in supply management, procurement, spend analytics or project management with an emphasis on strategic sourcing.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • General negotiation skills and experience managing contract negotiations.
  • Understanding of Oracle and SharePoint is desired.
  • High proficiency in MS Office including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Professional purchasing or Supply Chain certifications (CPM or CPSM) preferred.
