The Analyst I, Senior Programmer - Data Warehouse position is a critical role within the Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) that focuses on utilizing advanced SQL Server programming skills to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data systems. The individual in this role will be responsible for a variety of programming tasks, including writing, testing, and optimizing code, as well as documenting workflows and creating technical documentation to ensure that systems operate smoothly and meet the needs of end-users. This position also involves assisting with system and data analysis to quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to applications and application code. A key responsibility of this role is to facilitate the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources into the data warehouse. The Analyst I will provide direct written and verbal technical support to end-users and staff, leveraging their technical skills to address and resolve issues and requests effectively. The position may allow for a hybrid remote work schedule, enabling the employee to work from home for a portion of the workweek within the state of Wisconsin. The salary range for this position is between $67,340 and $96,891, based on a 12-month work schedule of 260 days.
