The Analyst I EPIC EHR Application role involves providing build support for Epic and other clinical applications, focusing on change requests, maintenance, and project business demands. The position requires configuring, documenting, testing, modifying, supporting, and maintaining software applications while building collaborative relationships with hospital leadership and clinical department users to facilitate system usage and acceptance. The analyst will also resolve end-user system issues and ensure adherence to application standards.

  • Assists in designing, verifying, documenting, amending and refactoring moderately complex software configurations for deployment.
  • Applies agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result.
  • Collaborates in reviews of work with others as appropriate.
  • Assists in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications.
  • Follows agreed procedures to identify and resolve issues with applications.
  • Uses application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics.
  • Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks.
  • Assists with the design of test cases and test scripts, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes.
  • Applies agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing.
  • Assists in the evaluation of design options and prototypes to obtain user feedback on requirements of developing systems, products, services or devices.
  • Checks systems, products, services or devices for adherence to applicable standards, guidelines, style guides, and legislation.
  • Provides first line investigation and gathers information to enable incident resolution and allocate incidents.
  • May be part of an after-hours on-call rotation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
  • Relevant experience of 1 year.
