About The Position

Job Summary: The Analyst I will be responsible for providing exceptional client service by answering basic client questions, assisting with fund transfers, maintaining CRM information, and generating performance reports. Additionally, the Analyst I will offer analytical support by attending client meetings, preparing reports and presentations, and entering data into financial planning software. The Analyst I will also support senior team members by creating financial plans and preparing materials for client meetings. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative and analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required, along with a willingness to get licensed as a Financial Professional.

Responsibilities

  • Answers basic questions for clients or fields client calls to appropriate colleagues
  • Assists with client requests for transfers of funds in and out of accounts
  • Enters or updates cost basis information
  • Fills out necessary forms for opening or maintaining accounts (if not performed by an Operations Specialist)
  • Interfaces with the broker-dealer or custodian to obtain information or account data and conveys service requests
  • Maintains information in the CRM system
  • Sets up and retrieves reports in the portfolio management system
  • Assists in generating performance reports
  • Attend client meetings and take extensive notes
  • Analyzes client information and prepares reports and presentations
  • Enters information into financial planning software and prepares draft plans, with help from an Associate Advisor or Service Advisor
  • Research products and product pricing and contacts carriers for information
  • Research investment managers and investment services and their pricing
  • Supports senior team members by creating financial plans and helping prepare materials needed for client meetings and follow-ups
  • Develops expertise in financial planning and familiarity with developing financial plans for clients
  • Assisting clients with eMoney, creating Financial Plans, working on Tax inputting of data, and handling misc. tasks helping the Wealth Division.
