Job Overview This role supports employees by managing and simplifying human resources (HR) data across core HR systems to promote operational efficiency. It involves monitoring and maintaining foundational and employee-specific HR data, including compliance with work authorization requirements. The role requires collaboration with various business areas to research, troubleshoot, and resolve data anomalies and system issues. Success is measured by data accuracy, timely completion of HR transactions, and compliance with HR governance and legislative standards. The work impacts the organization by ensuring reliable HR data that supports decision-making and protects organizational assets. This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and will be based in Overland Park, KS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • Process Improvement Experience actively participating in process improvement initiatives. (Required)
  • Analysis Ability to solve problems through quantitative and qualitative analysis in a team-based environment. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. (Required)
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skill. Able to communicate technical information effectively with all levels of management. (Required)
  • Customer Service Demonstrated customer focus with ability to deliver an exemplary customer experience. (Required)
  • Change Management Self-driven with ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to change and adopt new tools and resources to improve processes. (Required)
  • Microsoft Office Experience working within the MS Office Suite. (Required)
  • Microsoft Excel Strong skills in Excel with regard to formulas and charting. (Required)
  • Organizing Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multitask as necessary to meet SLAs and deadlines. (Required)
  • HR Consulting Proven ability to partner and consult with internal stakeholder teams to understand strategy and translate business requirements into HR system design/configuration solutions. (Required)
  • Ability to work effectively in both a team setting or independently in a dynamically changing environment. (Required)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • 2-4 years Experience in management of employee lifecycle data in Workday or other HRIS system including functional understanding of org structures and basic HRIS system table maintenance (Preferred)
  • Experience actively participating in process improvement initiatives. (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute HR data transactions and corrections to maintain accurate employee lifecycle information across multiple systems
  • Conduct regular audits to validate HR data accuracy and work authorization compliance, generating reports and resolving errors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to administer HR data programs and represent HR data processes in enterprise initiatives
  • Analyze HR data to provide insights and recommendations, supporting process improvements and updating documentation
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
