What this job involves: Join JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group as a Debt/Investment Sales Analyst in our Tampa office, supporting both the debt capital markets and investment sales teams in securing listings, marketing, and closing real estate transactions and finance deals. This role requires hospitality and real estate finance experience while working with highly motivated team members in a dynamic, collaborative environment. You'll work under supervision of senior team members while gaining independence to prepare presentations, perform financial analysis, and manage transaction processes. This position offers comprehensive exposure to both investment sales and debt capital markets transactions including due diligence processes, asset valuations, client communications, and marketing campaigns while working with sophisticated financial models and industry-specific documentation. What your day-to-day will look like: • Support Hotels & Hospitality Group team members in securing listings, marketing, and closing both real estate transactions and finance deals • Input financial data from P&L statements into valuation models and develop pro forma financial projections under supervision • Independently prepare presentations, financing memorandums, offering materials, and miscellaneous reports while reviewing financial data inputs • Perform debt sizing analysis and manage collection of necessary due diligence materials for new campaigns • Complete preliminary asset valuations using DCF, income capitalization, leveraged IRR, comparable sales, and construction cost techniques • Gather, compile, and present economic and demographic data in formats pertinent to real estate transactions • Supervise and review work performed by junior analysts while facilitating transaction and closing due diligence processes • Execute limited client-facing communications on technical level and assist in marketing campaigns including CRM management • Communicate with and coordinate work of third-party vendors under supervision • Abstract legal documents and coordinate due diligence processes for both debt and investment sales transactions

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business Finance, Hotel Administration, and/or Real Estate Finance
  • Strong record of academic achievement
  • Demonstrated quantitative skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining rapport with a team
  • Strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years real estate banking, commercial mortgage, and/or investment sales experience preferred
  • Hospitality-industry specific work experience, preferably in valuations, finance, accounting, or general consulting
  • Chartered Financial Analyst designation a plus
  • Ability to work within formal reporting relationships
  • Flexibility to work after normal business hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
