As an integral member of focused deal teams you will receive meaningful exposure to both senior bankers and client executives alike. Healthcare Analysts work on a variety of strategic transactions for industry-leading and emerging biopharma, life science tools & diagnostics, and other healthcare companies. Lazard is differentiated among the leading investment banks in our history of investing in Analysts and developing them into successful senior bankers. This role is available in New York, Chicago, or San Francisco.

Requirements

• One year of relevant investment banking experience with significant exposure to M&A
• Strong analytical skills with extensive training in the building of presentation materials and financial modelling
• Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding standards of accuracy
• High level of responsiveness with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining top quality work products
• A team player mindset with an ability to work seamlessly as part of a close-knit team
• Stellar interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with both deal teams and external clients
• Strong ability to multi-task and manage concurrent projects and deliverables
• Proven academic excellence and high degree of intellectual curiosity

Responsibilities

• Build and run comprehensive financial models and conduct a wide range of financial analyses
• Effectively analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information
• Perform company and industry research
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
• Collaborate with senior bankers and clients
