The team has raised over $9bn for our clients in the last 3 years at Lazard across a multitude of stages and sectors. Lazard is seeking to recruit an Analyst to join the Growth Capital Advisory team in Austin, Texas.

Requirements

• Investment banking or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills with extensive training in the building of presentation materials and financial modelling and accountancy – e.g. 3 statement models, valuation methodologies, etc.
• A passion for technology with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
• Proven academic excellence and high degree of intellectual curiosity
• High level of responsiveness with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a high-quality work product
• A team player mindset; ability to work as part of a close-knit team
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both to deal teams and external clients
• Strong ability to multi-task
• An ability to utilize AI tools and interest in how they can be used to improve the efficiency of the team

Responsibilities

• Build and run comprehensive financial models and conduct a wide range of financial analyses
• Effectively analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information
• Perform company and industry research
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
• Interact with senior bankers and clients
