To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What You’ll Be Doing The Energy, Infrastructure & Transition (EIT) team is the largest investment banking team at CIBC and focuses on clients in the United States, Canada and Europe across broad sector coverage including traditional sectors of power generation, utilities, upstream and midstream energy, transportation, and social infrastructure, plus emerging energy transition sectors including renewable power, carbon capture, hydrogen, renewable fuels, among other emerging low-carbon solutions. CIBC was named North American Financial Advisor of the year in 2024 by Infrastructure Journal Global (IJGlobal). This Analyst role is based in Houston and is focused on the Energy sector, with primary focus is on the energy midstream and pipeline, LNG and carbon capture sectors, with increasing focus on other emerging energy transition sectors. The primary roles and responsibilities for this Analyst position include working with Managing Directors, Executive Directors, Directors, Associates and Analysts to complete financial modeling and analysis, research, transaction structuring and to generally support the senior professionals with business development and transaction execution activities.
