About The Position

The Analyst, Global Insurance role supports Phillips 66’s corporate insurance and risk management programs through analytical, operational, and reporting activities. This position provides hands-on exposure to underwriting processes, insurance programs, and risk management practices while building technical, financial, and professional judgment skills in a collaborative corporate environment.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3 or more years of experience supporting insurance, risk management, finance, or analytical functions within a large organization
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of experience in a similarly situated role in Insurance and Risk Management
  • Experience in corporate risk management, insurance brokerage, underwriting, or insurance carrier environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Exposure to insurance programs such as property, casualty, workers’ compensation, surety, or captive insurance
  • Progress toward or interest in insurance-related professional designations such as CPCU or ARM
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with SAP, SharePoint, or analytical and reporting tools
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and manage detailed records with accuracy and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Track and review premiums, broker fees, invoices, and historical data to support corporate insurance and risk management programs.
  • Maintain accurate and well‑organized records of insurance policies, contracts, and claims information.
  • Assist with underwriting and program support activities for policy renewals, including Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) enrollment, surety bond administration, primary casualty program support, workers’ compensation self‑insurance programs, and captive management activities.
  • Prepare recurring reports, summaries, and moderately complex documents using standard office tools to support departmental reporting and presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to research insurance‑related inquiries and support compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor basic industry changes and continuously build knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and Phillips 66 assets and operations.
  • Preparation and management of form Letters of Self-Insurance and Captive Certificates of Insurance.
