Job Summary The Analyst supports transactions generated by the Capital Markets team with a focus on commercial real estate asset dispositions, investments and acquisitions. During this process, the role of the Analyst/Senior Analyst will be to generate relevant Argus reports, prepare underwriting and offering materials, support the senior team members in various areas related to forging ongoing and new client relationships, conducting due diligence and performing complex financial analysis and underwriting of significant transaction value. Responsibilities Essential Job Duties Perform feasibility/valuation financial analyses and market analyses Support senior leadership with valuation models, analytics, research, due diligence and marketing analytics. Manage/Create/Edit BOV proposals, offering memorandums, presentations and marketing materials. Support overall execution of transactions with tasks related to analysis, research, due diligence and documentation Produce applicable reports from the Argus system for analysis and application to transactions Create, analyze, and audit property, portfolio and entity level cash flow models Gather market information through research, interviews and property tours Perform continuous market research of the changing universe of equity investors and lenders Maintain database of real estate transactions Other job duties as needed based on transaction assignment and team structure Core Competencies Ability to problem-solve and exercise independent judgement while displaying a high degree of initiative and accuracy. Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects and complete multiple tasks on schedule. Ability to work productively under minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL and Word. Strong work ethic, Proactive team player able to work efficiently under sometime stressful conditions. Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels across the organization. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with some level of real estate and/or finance experience, preferably with a firm engaged in investment, development or brokerage Willingness to take ownership of projects and execute to completion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Conceptual thinker with good analytic and creative problem-solving skills Strong personal initiative Ability to function in a team-oriented setting while working independently with limited day-to-day supervision Ability to handle multiple projects at one time and work in a fast paced, transaction-oriented environment Ability and willingness to travel and occasionally to work long hours Ability to maintain attention to detail while working under tight time frames with meaningful deadlines Ability to work accurately and efficiently Ability to correctly prioritize multiple projects Working Conditions: Normal working conditions with the absence of disagreeable elements.
