The Analyst, Finance Rotational Program (FAR) is a two-year development program designed to provide recent graduates with accelerated training and exposure in the Financial Services industry, ultimately developing them into future financial leaders of the organization. The Rotational Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis will participate in the organization's comprehensive Financial Analyst Rotational (FAR) program by completing three 8-month placements across three key pillars: Core Banking, Insight & Analysis, and Business FP&A. This role has a high level of visibility due to the exposure to key stakeholders, including management, and represents the first rotation in the program. The Finance organization is responsible for leading and participating in a number of critical functions, including supporting executive management decision-making by analyzing results, assessing strategic alternatives, and developing strategic plans. The team communicates financial results and forecasts with critical stakeholders, including executive management, the Board of Directors, shareholders, and regulators. Additionally, the Finance organization manages the Company's balance sheet, including interest rate and liquidity risks, establishes capital policies, prioritizes investments, and develops and implements controls to reduce operational risk. The role requires a broad understanding of the business, risk, and strategy, as the Finance organization works across functions and business lines within the Company. The Analyst will generate forecasts and analyze trends in revenue-generating organizations, finance, and other areas of business for financial and strategic planning purposes. They will conduct financial and economic analysis and forecasting, evaluate alternate financial plans, and prepare, analyze, interpret, and maintain internal and external information related to economic policy, rates of return, depreciation, investments, and operational and financial results. The Analyst will also analyze profit-and-loss income statements and prepare reports on findings to make budgeting and cost recommendations to management.
