Purpose: Supports the Facilities Repair & Maintenance team as an entry-level contributor under close supervision, executing projects and procedures aligned with the Facilities Services strategy using technical repair and maintenance knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Utilities Technician , with proven ability to support, troubleshoot, and maintain facility utility systems.
  • Hands-on experience working on and troubleshooting a wide range of utility systems, including: CHP (Combined Heat and Power) Systems Compressed Air Systems Purified Water Systems (PWS) HVAC Systems Cooling Towers Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Chillers Power Substations Standby Generators
  • Experience as an Administrator/Developer of Honeywell BMS/EMS Systems.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot Utilities Systems and perform Predictive Analysis to identify early warning indicators and reduce equipment downtime.
  • Experience with Fire Suppression Systems , including inspection support, troubleshooting, and coordination of repairs and required testing.
  • Experience managing Purified Water System (PWS) - Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems
  • Best Documented Practices Demonstrates strong adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) , ensuring all work performed is clear, accurate, legible, timely, and fully compliant with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures all maintenance activities, certifications, inspections, troubleshooting actions, and repairs are fully documented in accordance with internal SOPs and established industry standards.
  • Maintains clear, organized, and audit‑ready documentation for utility systems, cleanroom certifications, HEPA filters, laminar flow hoods, and related systems.
  • Follows industry best practices for safety, quality, compliance, and operational discipline , promoting a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory readiness.
  • Ability to create, update, and maintain procedures, checklists, technical forms, logs, and documentation templates to ensure accuracy, traceability, and long‑term system reliability.

Nice To Haves

  • BS in Electronics Technology or related technical field.
  • Certified Electrician License (Journeyman or Master level preferred).
  • Certified HVAC Technician License , or equivalent accredited HVAC certification.
  • Additional certifications in utilities, instrumentation, controls, safety programs, or automation technologies are considered a strong plus.
