About The Position

The Analyst, Escrow Admin II at Freedom Mortgage is responsible for performing various functions within Escrow Administration, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and investor guidelines. The role involves coordinating audit requests, reviewing quality control findings, and assisting with special projects as needed. The incumbent will also track outsourcer performance and support departmental needs based on volume fluctuations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of mortgage servicing experience, preferably in real estate taxes, homeowners insurance, flood, mortgage insurance, or loss draft claims.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Research accounts noted on quality control reviews and provide necessary information to respond in a timely manner.
• Provide documentation to refute observations or identify root causes and suggest corrective actions for accounts in question.
• Research accounts for audit requests and provide requested information/documentation before due dates.
• Review a population of accounts for adherence to established standards and document findings with recommendations for exceptions.
• Assist in the population of data for vendor scorecards and participate in vendor performance review sessions.
• Facilitate departmental regression testing for scheduled system enhancements.
• Assist with acquisitions and sales activities as needed.
• Develop additional controls based on observed deficiencies.
• Work with vendors to ensure system data is synchronized with the servicing platform.
• Accumulate, categorize, and track customer service issues, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
