Requirements

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools – Power Bi, Excel, Tableau.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages like SQL or Python.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Business Central Enterprise Resource Planning is required.
  • Familiarity with general accounting principles, standards, and practices that translate to technical finance language, protocols, processes is required.
  • Strong attention to detail orientation with great analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and prioritization skills for managing multiple tasks across multiple projects.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with individuals and teams from different departments at different levels of the organization.
  • Ability to make sound independent decisions and work with little supervision.
  • Ability to read and interpret general business documents, technical specifications, data flow diagrams, process documentations, technical schematics.
  • Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence.
  • Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
  • Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment.
  • Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance or business administration required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Freight Forwarding or Transportation industry desired.
  • Certifications in SQL preferred.
  • However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and compile data from various operating systems sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct research to support projects and gather information on relevant ERP topics to help identify resolutions to business problems.
  • Collaborate with business end users, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements to ensure projects meet business needs.
  • Complete data cleansing and transformation as needed.
  • Prepare and create clear, concise reports and presentations for leadership.
  • Collect requirements, perform gap analysis, and evaluate against business needs.
  • Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure quality of IT solutions.
  • Conduct thorough user acceptance testing and solution implementation to production environments.
  • Complete and maintain business requirements documents, functional design documentation complete with specifications.
  • Develop detailed system design documents to include data models, process flows, wire frames to aid in the development process.
  • Work closely with IT development teams to ensure that IT solutions align with business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvements, optimization, and automation.
  • Conduct new hire training and new feature release support to end users.
  • Drive accountability in continuous process improvement in daily activities; continuously strive to streamline Business Central processes to become more efficient and productive and to decrease the amount of time spent on invoice processes.
  • Support and promote company core values.
