The Analyst - ERP 4 is a member of the Corporate IT Team focused on the internal systems and software the Company uses in the day-to-day operations. This position is also responsible for providing technical and business support in the area of Finance. The role involves providing leadership in functional and business requirements gathering sessions, collaborating with end-users, and developing relationships. The Analyst will provide systems and technical guidance to develop new opportunities with clients and assist with the development of the Business Case. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and conducting test plans for functional unit tests, regression tests, and system integration tests. The Analyst will conduct research to develop and demonstrate application Best Practices, work directly with end-users and the Business Leadership Team, and provide support for the business application assigned areas' Master Data and applications. Additionally, the Analyst will develop planning models, stories, and visualizations using the Analytics Cloud (SAC) technology from SAP, monitor and troubleshoot user performance, and perform appropriate duties as assigned by management.

  • Documents root cause analysis and issue resolution.
  • Provides feedback and recommendations to leadership on strategic business opportunities.
  • Develops planning models, stories, and visualizations using SAC technology.
  • Monitors and troubleshoots SAC user performance, refresh failures, and access issues.
  • Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management.
  • Minimum of 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or university; or 7 to 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with complex Enterprise Resource Planning implementations and interfaces - SAP preferred.
  • Ability to identify and solve complex system problems.

  • Development experience with SAP's SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) technology and tools.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with APIs and other data access and integration methods.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
  • Experience with DevOps or equivalent.
  • Experience and exposure to the SAP Business Technology Platform.
