OPPORTUNITY The Bahnsen Group (TBG) is looking for an Analyst to join their Equity Research group within their Investment Solutions Department. This role is a full-time, in-office position for our Newport Beach, CA office. The position is focused on TBG's Core Dividend portfolio and providing equity research coverage. The Analyst will conduct bottoms-up fundamental research with a focus on companies that are paying and growing their dividend over time. The Analyst will work with experienced portfolio management professionals, including Co-CIOs David Bahnsen and Brian Szytel.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience -- relevant experience analyzing equities (value/dividend focused preferred)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Passion for bottom-up research & long-term investing

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with FactSet or Bloomberg (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fundamental driven research on portfolio companies & prospect pipeline
  • Monitoring of portfolio holdings, attend earnings calls, & cover sell-side analyst reports
  • Analyze financial statements, track key catalysts, news, and market movements
  • Prepare investment reports to communicate research with analyst team & portfolio managers
  • Build and maintain financial models
