About The Position

The Analyst - Employee Travel Process & Systems role at United Airlines is focused on managing and improving the Employee Travel programs within the Total Rewards team. This position involves overseeing the implementation of policies, ensuring compliance, and analyzing travel data to enhance program efficacy. The analyst will also conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for travel systems, manage communications, and support various travel-related inquiries.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical role.
  • Ability to create storytelling graphs and presentations using MS Office.
  • Data analysis and trend reporting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of project planning and management.
  • Ability to work flexibly and under pressure.
  • Ability to handle shifting priorities and a large volume of problem resolution work.
  • Ability to think proactively and stay accountable for assignments.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of User Data Header (UDH), Foundry, ServiceNow.
  • Understanding of writing and/or using SQL queries.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and execute policies and program administration for Employee Travel.
  • Manage relationships, communications, governance, and compliance of Employee Travel programs.
  • Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Employee Travel systems and ensure adherence to business requirements.
  • Enact change management plans and communicate program upgrades.
  • Identify and document trends from system issues to leadership.
  • Prepare and analyze employee travel data.
  • Support Accounting system, EmployeeRES, and travel management systems.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing for employee travel systems and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Prepare data for total rewards programs and consolidate data for approvals.
  • Conduct market surveys and benchmark data against industry standards.
  • Manage business requirements and user stories for employee travel system.
  • Document system enhancements and report bugs in Jira tracking system.
  • Perform regular audits of data and employee travel systems.
  • Monitor team shared inbox and respond to complex employee inquiries.
