About The Position

The Analyst - Embedded Onsite collects, analyzes, and disseminates relevant data and intelligence supporting Law Enforcement, Corrections and Criminal Courts. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentors and provides expertise to team members, gathers intelligence from various sources, and produces intelligence reports and executive summaries which assists in detecting crime trends, identifying modus operandi, predicting potential criminal activity and targets.

Requirements

  • Experience in intelligence analysis, preferably in a corporate or government setting.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to produce clear and logical reports and concise briefings.
  • Proficiency in intelligence analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in intelligence analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and form objective and evidence-based conclusions/recommendations regarding criminal or administrative complaints.
  • Demonstrate research, planning, and organization skills and demonstrated ability to manage changing and competing priorities under strict timelines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience in communicating needs and directives to be successful with multiple entities involved
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years' experience in a related role analyzing data, identifying trends, and writing Intelligence/summary reports.
  • Experience with multiple Agency communication paths
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice or related field of study.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, research, write and review referrals, criminal reports, correspondence and executive summaries.
  • Plan, develop, and write intelligence reports and summaries as necessary.
  • Maintain investigative records and manage information in compliance with the agency's retention policy.
  • Plan, coordinate, and integrate work activities, assignments, and projects with Investigations division management to ensure the effective completion of initiatives and requirements.
  • Gather intelligence data from open sources, databases, and other relevant sources.
  • Analyze intelligence data using various analytical techniques and tools to identify trends, patterns, and potential threats.
  • Prepare intelligence reports highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on intelligence analysis to support decision-making processes to all parties involved
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in intelligence analysis.
  • Conduct a final critique of intelligence ensuring this aligns with the agency's intelligence values.
  • Ensures that necessary corrections and/or additions are provided if content or substance is deemed inadequate.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of intelligence data and information.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Host Facility
